#### CRESCENDO CHOIR CAMP

The rudiments of the singing craft begin here as elementary age students learn how to read music, be a part of a choral unit, and learn three songs for a very special concert. Campers learn musical skills through games and activities, and through group singing that bring together educational experiences in meaningful ways. Be a part of this ensemble and find your voice! There will be a short performance in choral studio at the end of the camp session at 11:30 a.m.

#### JUNGLE MUSIC CHOIR CAMP

If your child loves to sing, this is the perfect camp to develop his/her passion for music. Music is taught through games and activities that help children match pitch, learn meter and rhythm, and history on the origins of special selections. Three special musical selections are taught with the theme in mind. Pretty sure “The Bare Necessities,” from the Jungle Book is on the list. Don’t miss out on all the fun. There will be a short performance in choral studio at the end of the camp session at 11:30am.

#### YOUTH SHOW CHOIR

If you just can’t sit still when listening to music, or you just can’t stop humming along, then this is the camp for you! Campers will do more than just sing, as we add choreography and personality to our performance. This years concert theme is Changes. There will be a free short performance at 6 p.m. on the last day of camp in the Danny Mabry Theatre.

#### violin camp

Discover the joy of playing the violin at the Carrollton Cultural Arts Center this summer. This beginner camp is the perfect way to spark interest in playing a string instrument. Campers will learn the basics of playing the violin through the Suzuki method. Simple repertoire will be performed at the end of one week for parents and friends. Students without violin instruments — no worries — you will be given a loaned instrument for the camp week.
