To Kill a Mockingbird Auditions

This classic tale offers principal roles for 12 males and 8 Females and several other ensemble roles. Several youth roles are part of the cast and an African American soloist will be cast. Audition packets can be picked up at the Arts Center beginning July 5th. Soloists should prepare 16 bars of a hymn or gospel song for audition.

Audition Dates: Jul 17 – 18
Youth Auditions: 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Adult Auditions: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Show Dates: Sep 15 – 17
Special Note: Show run will include a School Matinee on Friday, Sep 15 at 10 a.m.
Rehearsals will be Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 6-9 p.m.

Stuart Little Auditions

For the first time, our Youth Theatre program will be performing a fall production. Actors can pick up an audition packets starting July 31st. The play has principal roles 34 actors. The play does offer roles for both Youth and a few Adult roles.

Audition Dates: Aug 26
Youth Auditions: 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Adult Auditions: 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Show Dates: Oct 27 – 28
Rehearsals will be Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and more rehearsals closer to date of performances.
Performance Fee: $50.00 per actor (If an actor is signed up for Acting Up Theatre classes; then the performance fee is waived.)

Miracle on 34th Street Auditions

Based on the Twentieth Century Fox classic, this play was adapted for the stage by Mountain Community Theater, and is a charming tale of childhood, faith, and the Christmas spirit.   Join us this holiday season to be a part of this heart-warming production! The diverse cast calls for 3 adult men, 2 adult women, 1 youth girl, and 14 mixed gender with a host of extras to fill the holiday scenery. Kris Kringle impersonators welcome!  We will also be casting a singing ensemble of youth.  Audition packets are available for pick up on September 5th, 2017, at the Carrollton Cultural Arts Center Box Office.

Spamalot Auditions

Come join King Arthur and his band of Knights as they journey on the quest of all quests…a divine search for the Holy Grail.  Guided by the lovely Lady of the Lake and her “Laker Girls,” Arthur and his knights travel England and France on their quest for courage and love. Auditions for Monty Python’s, Spamalot, has 10 roles for men and 10 roles for women, all of which dance and sing and act…all at the same time.   Actors must be the age of 18.   Any actor wanting to audition younger than this must be accompanied by an adult.

Audition Dates: Dec 11 & 12
Times: 6:00 p.m. – until.
Show Dates: March 16 – 25
Rehearsals are Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays. More called rehearsals will be provided nearing opening night.
